This week, the mayor of Seychelles' capital Victoria joined participants from 73 cities across 56 countries and regions at the 2026 Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit and Global Mayors Dialogue in Beijing.

During her Beijing visit, the mayor looks forward to advancing cooperation with other cities. She highlighted fruitful people-to-people ties between China and Seychelles as well as China-funded local infrastructure projects, while marveling at China's robust technological progress.
