KABUL, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Authorities have put into operation a water supply network in eastern Afghanistan's Logar province, reported the official Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) on Saturday.
Constructed at a cost of 9 million afghani (around 142,000 U.S. dollars) in Baraki Barak district, the project could provide drinking water to 512 families, the official media outlet said.
Weeks ago, two other water supply networks were inaugurated in Khogiyani district of the eastern Nangarhar province. ■
